Pharrell’s Rep Denies N.E.R.D. Breakup

Despite Pharrell Williams’ comments to Radio 1 the other day that “N*E*R*D is dead”, the singer’s rep tells The New York Daily News, “They’re definitely not broken up; they’re performing in Japan in a couple of weeks.” The rep added, “He said those things out of frustration.” But the Daily News hears that Pharrell’s “frustration” is enough that he and Chad Hugo are seeking any way possible out of their deal with Virgin Records.
