Plies Explains ‘Da Realist’ Release Date Strategy
Plies spoke with MTV News about the December 16th release of his third album ‘Da Realist’, coming out just in time for Christmas and will be his second album in 2008. “From my research, in seeing how good Christmas holidays are to you, and everybody having money, and it’s the week before Christmas, I’ll take my chances,” Plies said of the chosen date – not to mention record sales generally fall off a cliff in January and February.
