Preferential Treatment For Busta Rhymes?
The New York Daily News reports Busta Rhymes waited no more than a half hour after making bail on assault charges before he was whisked out of the downtown Manhattan court complex in a Correction Department bus, which whizzed right past photographers on the sidewalk. He then climbed into a big black SUV that was waiting for him just a few feet away. “If anybody helped Mr. Smith in getting preferential treatment in avoiding the media or anything else, they did so on their own authority and in violation of official policy,” said Correction Department spokesman Steve Morello.
