The New York Daily News reports Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs has put plans for a 10th anniversary of his Bad Boy Records label on hold as he prepares for his Broadway debut in ‘A Raisin in the Sun’, opening April 26 at the Royale. “My employees, who I have a lot of respect for, are running the companies for me so I can do this,” Combs said Thursday during a break in rehearsals. “I never would have dreamed that I would have been playing on Broadway, but I jumped at the chance. Now that I see how serious you have to be, I have so much respect for theater artists… I’ve been on movie sets, and there’s nothing as serious or as difficult as this. It’s harder than the marathon. It’s incredibly humbling.”
