Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed the Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs produced ‘Bad Boys II Soundtrack’. Farber writes, “After Combs split with his previous distributor, Arista – for reasons he hasn’t revealed – press speculation swirled that the impresario couldn’t get anywhere near the megamillion-dollar deal he wanted from another benefactor. To make those stories go away, Combs needs to create a smash. Of course, the hit-by-definition status of the ‘Bad Boys’ flick ensured that Combs could hire a can’t-miss lineup of star participants.”
