Puffy Recalls ‘Monsters Ball’ Casting Pitch

Dean Goodman of Reuters spoke with Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs about his role in ‘Monsters Ball’ and the near begging he had to do to land the role. Puffy recalled saying, “I’m not bringing none of that superstar s–t with me. I’m not bringing my entourage, I’m here to do my work. I’m taking this very seriously. I’m here to learn. Help me. I want to be an asset. I know I can be an asset to the film. I feel like I’m the best person for this role and I want the role. I’ve got to have it.”
