Puffy’s Posse At Clubs Leaves Too Many Cooks In The Kitchen

The New York Post profiled the popularity of having posses with celebrities, citing Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs as the article’s focus. “When you have Puffy’s bouncers trying to protect his people, and the club’s bouncers trying to protect their people, it’s too many cooks in the kitchen,” says Richie Akiva, who owns the celeb-friendly nightspot Butter. Celebrity shrink Dr. Joyce Brothers commented, “The less secure the celebrity, the more he needs the entourage.”
