Queen Latifah On How She Landed ‘Chicago’ Role
Queen Latifah was on the Connie Chung show on Friday night where she talked about landing the role in ‘Chicago’, in which she faced stiff competition from Bette Midler, Kathy Bates, and Rosie O’Donnell, who also tried out for the part. “I don’t think it was so much that they couldn’t have played Mama,” she says. “I think all of the people you just mentioned could play Mama.
