Launch.com talked to Dilated Peoples as the group released Expansion Team with Ra saying he and Evidence aren’t just Babu’s DJ’s, “We’re his MCs.” Ra added, “To me, the DJ is the backbone of hip-hop. we let people focus on the mouthpiece instead…a spineless mouthpiece is a bad situation.”
