Rap Stars Sing Virtue Of Saving Your Money
The Associated Press reports Saturday afternoon in the packed Hammerstein Ballroom, Russell Simmons led a star-studded group in presenting the “Get Your Money Right Financial Empowerment Tour.” LL Cool J told the audience, “The biggest misconception probably comes from the hip-hop community itself … that the money lasts forever. You have to do the right thing with it.” LL and Russell were joined by Nas, T.I., and a host of financial experts.
