Roc-A-Fella Holding MC Battle Competition For New York Universities

When it comes to hip-hop music, Roc-a-fella Records always have their eyes and ears peeled to the streets. Their staff stays on the grind exploring fresh and innovative ideas to deliver to their loyal fans. Thus, Roc-a-fella Records and the City Universities of New York (CUNY) are collaborating on a ROC/CUNY MC Battle. Currently 12 different CUNY schools are set to participate in this event. In the month of April each school will have their own battle with their own students. Then the respective winning MCs from each school will meet May 1 at Hunter College for the finals.
