RuPaul On Hip Hop

RuPaul weighed in on the state of hip-hop in an interview with The New York Daily News. “The people who market this sh**, they’ve got it made because the kids don’t want anything different,” the ‘Supermodel’ singer said. “Down to the outfits to the girls in bikinis to the hot tubs. It’s crazy. I think that music, fashion, movies – all forms of art – are in a holding pattern for one simple reason: It’s because of our culture’s inability to expand on sexuality. And its inability to accept sexuality on life’s terms. I’m talking man-on-man sexuality.”
