S. Carter Shoe A Dream Come True For Jay-Z

Jay-Z tells Radio 1 that he can’t believe he’s got a shoe named after him – it’s like a dream come true. “I grew up in the projects, you know what I’m saying, and we had to prepare to get shoes, it took us months, we had to save up, take out trash and do chores to get sneakers,” he explained. “So to go from that, to having your own sneaker, is the most incredible thing in the world. I feel wonderful, very comfortable, it’s the most comfortable shoe ever created.”
