Saigon Calls For A Gang Truce With ‘The Color Purple’

Much like 50 Cent, has been dropping a slew of mixtapes since he was released from prison in 1999 in hopes to promote himself and he has done just that. He has made a name for himself and even has been named one “Top Artists To Watch in 2004” by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Now, being that Saigon has been through a violent past, he is urging peace between rival Blood and Crip gangs with his 1st single ‘The Color Purple,’ off of his upcoming debut titled ‘Dear Black Music’. The full article at ballerstatus.net has since been removed or relocated.
