Semtex Talks With Nas About The Election, New Album

Semtex TV caught up with Nas backstage at ‘Rock the Bells’ UK, where the rapper talked about Barack Obama winning the election, the effectiveness of the hip-hop vote, Kanye West being at the top of the game, and starting work on his next album. Nas said it felt “surreal, incredible” after Obama beat John McCain to become President-elect on November 4th. “No one ever thought they’d see it, but it’s here. It’s the best thing, especially getting ready to go into next year. You go into next year with the wind on your back, pushing you. It’s good.” Green Lantern also weighed in. Watch the interview below.
