Launch.com reports before playing the 21 tracks on his new ‘Paid The Cost To Be The Boss’ album at the Priority and Capitol Records office in Hollywood, Snoop Dogg said that the album marks his most independent effort to date. “I did this record without being under Dr. Dre’s wings or Master P’s wings or nobody’s wings,” Snoop said. “I did it on my own two feet. And this record speaks for itself.”
