Stop Complaining About Rappers In Film Says Ja Rule

spoke with Radio 1 ahead of this weekend’s release of ‘Half Past Dead’, which he stars. The rapper says full-time actors should stop complaining about rappers getting roles in top films. “I think it’s kind of a slap in the rapper’s faces as well when there are rappers out there that have talent, trying to take what they do to another level,” he complained. “And really how I see it is back in the days all of the big entertainers – all the big music stars – were the big movie stars. You know, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe – they were the movie stars of the era. And I think that’s just how it is coming back to that. If talent is there, why not?”
