Taboo: Fergie Isn’t The Key To Black Eyed Peas Success

Tim Duggan of Australia’s Beat magazine spoke with Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas, who as one of original members who has spent endless years touring as building support for the group, but does not see Fergie as the key to their success. “I think it’s timing,” he says. “We grew as producers and MCs and songwriters and it was a natural progression for us to break on this record. If we had broken the first record we probably wouldn’t have been here. It’s the right time for us to break, we have been hungry and kept the hussle going.”
