CNBC’s Julia Boorstin caught up with 50 Cent at CES, asking the G-Unit mainman about his Sleek by 50 Cent headphones, launching a new record label, and the future of the music industry. “I think there’s gonna be more entrepreneurship coming from actual artists in collaboration with other major corporations to create marketing dollars to allow them to continue to make material and do what we have a passion for,” 50 said when asked about the future of artists in an industry with declining sales. Young Buck visited Tim Westwood’s 1Xtra show in London to discuss 50 Cent, his G-Unit split and more. “The situation started from a real misunderstanding and kinda got outta hand to where it’s at now,” Buck said about the G-Unit troubles. “The communication between me and 50 really, really fell off at a point in time… For the most part, it was never me and 50 conversation about seeing where we were going without 50 making his actions towards where it’s at as far as my removal from the group, from G-Unit. Technically, I’ve been still signed to G-Unit these past three years. Look man I think somebody put roots on me cause I keep get hurt for no reason.

The G-Unit mainman was seen coming out of a party in Santa Monica, and the TMZ paparazzi asked him if he heard the joke, “What did Dr. Dre say when 50 Cent gave him a sweater for Christmas?” When Fiddy asked what he said, the pap said, “Gee, you knit?” The video report from TMZ at MySpace has since been removed.

50 Cent videotaped himself stuffing his Lamborghini he had just purchased in Beverly Hills with stacks of bills, which they estimated to be at least $2 million. “Now, that’s a stash right there,” the G-Unit mainman said before smiling at the camera next to the loot.
