Rap acts on television this week include Baby Bash, who performs with Natalie on ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’ on Monday; Young Jeezy, who visits ‘Daily Download’ on Monday; Pras of the Fugees, who visits ‘Daily Download’ on Tuesday; and Nick Cannon, who visits ‘Total Request Live’ on Thursday.
Baby Bash was on the phone with Jackie & Bender on KISS 106.1 FM in Seattle on May 12th. Bash addressed the alleged rift with Frankie J which the DJ’s worried was due to them, but apparently there’s no problems. Because one of the morning show guys will be performing ‘Pina Colada’ at an upcoming BFD concert on June 25th, that got Bash to start singing it. Audio at kiss1061.com has since been removed.

Baby Bash, the Latin artist who garnered a top 10 hit last year with “Suga, Suga,” is returning with his sophomore effort titled Super Saucy. Baby Bash phoned into The Edge in New Zealand to talk about his new album ‘The Smoking Nephew’ tough upbringing, hustling, and dealing with his parents heroin addiction. He talked about his online contest where he calls the winner. Then Bash talked about his nickname, which originated from his fighting ability. Then they discussed his love for marijuana and he and his posse’s desire to “blow big” in Kiwi land, and revealed what his “fat sack” is all about. Theedge.co.nz has since removed the audio.
Since their hit record ‘Suga Suga’, recording artists Baby Bash and Frankie J now have an ad campaign for the Clench clothing line. The new ad campain will be launched in the March 2004 issue of the hip hop magazine XXL. The duo will also be in Las Vegas at the Magic Convention to sign autographs February 23rd.
