Imagine if Nas, Big Daddy Kane and Bahamadia formed a group. The lyricism of Nas, the intensity of Kane and the depth of Bahamadia all rolled into one package. It would be an incredible sound to hear. While those three may never get together, the children of their influence have in the form of Nervous System. Recently Nervous System (SolStorm, Polarity Plus and Eclipse) sat down with ReactMag.com and talked about their individual paths to Hip-Hop, why they enjoy performing with their live band, and how much it means to them when cops get offended at their song ‘Police Brutality’. The interview has since been removed.

Nadra Kareem of the El Paso Times previewed Big Daddy Kane’s show at Club Vallare. Pooh One, a DJ for Power 102 said, “He was what everybody is now, what everybody talks about now. He already had that bling-bling persona, the flashy cars, the chains, the money. He already did that in the ’80s.” Eastsider Victor Alston added, “I think the hip-hop community needs to know who he is because he’s opened a lot of doors for a lot of rappers today.”
