Fergie, Taboo And apl.de.ap Discuss ‘The Black Eyed Peas Experience’ Game

GamerLive.tv was on hand for ‘The Black Eyed Peas Experience’ premiere, talking with group members Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap, plus other VIPs about the new music dance game.

“It kind of felt silly when we had to put on the black catsuits, very tight,” Fergie explained about the game creation process. “Ladies, the guys had to wear them too, with dots all over them that picked up our moves with sensors. I’m so glad that we did it, we all are, because it turned out amazing. It turned out sick.”

apl.de.ap added, “It’s pretty hands on. We got to pick out our outfits and make certain adjustments and place our certain products in there. Tab got his jump shoes in there, Fergie got her Fergie shoewear and I got my muscles and stuff.”

The Black Eyed Peas brought their futuristic stage show to the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Tuesday night (May 24). Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo performed their new single ‘Don’t Stop The Party’ at the live results show. ‘Don’t Stop The Party’ appears on BEP’s sixth studio album, ‘The Beginning’, available on iTunes now. Video of the performance at ABC.com has since been removed.

Black Eyed Peas Win Favorite Music Group At KCAs

The Black Eyed Peas took home a blimp for Favorite Music Group over the weekend at the 2011 Kids Choice Awards after opening the show with a medley of their current single ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ and ‘The Time (Dirty Bit)’. Footage of Fergie, will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap accepting the award for the second year in a row and chatting with Nick host Jeff Sutphen about the crazy energy in the room at MTV.com has since been removed.

City Link has procured an the Black Eyed Peas backstage rider submitted in advance of their halftime-show performance at February’s Super Bowl in Dallas. The list, obtained from an anonymous source on the Super Bowl XLV Host Committee in Dallas, includes 42 bottles of Aquafina and 8 kobe beef burgers for will.i.am, 11 cans of Chef Boyardee Mini Dinosaurs with Meatballs and 2 full-length body pillows stuffed with wild emu feathers for Fergie, and really not much for apl.de.ap and Taboo. The complete list at sun-sentinel.com has since been removed.

The Black Eyed Peas have just premiered the video for their new single ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’. The group teamed up with director Ben Mor (‘I Gotta Feeling’, ‘Meet Me Halfway’) and traveled to Tokyo for the shoot which took place only one week before the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan.

“It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives,” explains Fergie. “I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.”

Taboo continues, “It was an amazing moment in time because Japan has always been my favorite place on the planet and it was great to do our video there! God bless the Japanese our love goes out to them.”

The song is off the Peas’ sixth studio album ‘The Beginning’, available on iTunes now.

The Black Eyed Peas just announced a partnership with Sports Illustrated for a massive Super Bowl kickoff party on February 4th in Dallas, Texas. The trailer for the party, which will also feature David Guetta and catch BEP performing live at the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers, has since been removed at DipDive.com.
