Cassidy Accepts 50 Cent’s Challenge

Murda Mook called him out several times on Hot 97, even 50 Cent warned him to watch his mouth, well here’s what Cassidy told MTV.com: “The first cat you named, I never even heard of him,” he said, referring to Mook. “He don’t got no situation, he can’t even ride the beat. The kid is a clown. The second kid [50 Cent], said I better watch it. That’s my type of ballgame. I would get involved with that [battle], ’cause I got something to gain. Cassidy Compares R. Kelly’s Plight To Clinton And Monica

Entertainment Weekly profiles R. Kelly as part of their Summer Music Preview, speaking with rapper Cassidy about his work with the troubled singer, who is battling charges of child pornography, on ‘Hotel’. Cassidy says he had no problems working with Kelly on the track. “I don’t got nuthin’ but love for him,” the 21-year-old said. “You gotta be able to separate the business from somebody’s personal life. Same with Bill Clinton, I don’t feel as though what happened to him and Monica Lewinsky affected what type of President he was. With R. Kelly, I don’t really know what’s the truth. All I Know is, every time he comes up with a song, I like it.”

Cassidy Describes Ideal Date

When Cassidy is with a date, he’s really not all about trying to get her to a ‘Hotel’. He tells Teen People: “I like to go shopping [with] my girl. Or just spend time talking with her.” When Cassidy isn’t on a date, he likes to hit the boxing ring. “I think it’s the ultimate test of strength, intelligence, and endurance,” he said.
