Coolio Arrested At LAX For Drug Possession

Coolio was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, a spokeswoman for the airport said. TMZ is reporting that the rapper was involved in a scuffle with a security screener at LAX, adding that the 45-year-old was found with crack cocaine. Coolio was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Coolio is host of the My Damn Channel reality cooking show ‘Cookin with Coolio’. The show features the veteran rapper, dubbing himself “The Ghetto Gourmet” teaching viewers how to make a Caprese salad, a game day turkey, stir-friend vegetables, shrimp, and more. Reality Show ‘Coolio & The Gang’ Coming To Oxygen

According to the Hollywood Reporter, ‘Coolio & The Gang’ is set to air in the second-quarter of 2008 on the women’s cable network Oxygen. The show will follow the California rapper as he raises six teenagers by himself while maintaining his rap career and launching a clothing line. Debby Beece, president of programming and marketing at the network, said, “Coolio is a single dad raising kids, and it’s got a lot of unconventional parenting aspects to it. He wants his kids to do as he says, not as he does.”

Coolio Arriving At Hotel in Venice

Coolio was spotted arriving at the Excelsior Hotel during the 64th Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy on Wednesday (September 5).

TMZ caught Coolio as he got out of a car filled with a bevy of stacked ladies, telling them, “If you don’t call me tomorrow I’m gonna Stone Cold Steve Austin you!” Surprised he was being videotaped, the rapper told the paparazzo, “I got some head!”
