Lil’ Bow Wow, Coolio, and more are all playing in the Phoenix Suns Celebrity Game. The event takes place February 16th at America West Arena and is presented by Phoenix’s 104.7 KISS-FM.
Coolio attended the DVD Premiere Awards at the Wiltern Theatre on Tuesday (January 14) in Los Angeles, California.

Coolio and his sons Milan and Darius were at the ‘Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets’ premiere in Los Angeles at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Thursday (November 14).
Star magazine reports fame and money haven’t gotten to Coolio’s head, as the rapper still is a down-home guy. “I do’t have bodyguards,” he said. “And I still go to the cleaners and the grocery store by myself. I baby-sit for my kids, and I play video games at home.”
Billboard.com has more on Coolio’s just completed USO tour in Europe, including comments from those he entertained. “I’m not a real big rap fan, but I really enjoyed the show. I thought he did a great job and the soldiers enjoyed the show,” said Command Sgt. Maj. Chad Pysher. “I think its important because it shows that the people back home appreciate what we’re doing here and what they’ve given up and sacrificed by coming here.”
Coolio tells Rolling Stone he promised to give the troops what they want when began his USO tour in the Balkans over the weekend. “Some of ’em love [my songs] more than others,” he says, “and some of ’em don’t give a sh** ’cause they want to see girls — they don’t want to see some damn dude [laughs]. So I’m gonna take some girls with me.”
Ted Casablanca of E! Online chatted with Coolio at Sunday’s premiere of the Disney flick The Santa Clause 2, held at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Coolio said he’s a bit of a sore loser. “I never let any of my sons beat me at videogames,” Coolio admits. “All of their friends come over to challenge me, and I whip their butts and send them home.” Asked if he does anything nice to make up for it, Coolio said, “Well, I’m going to Kosovo next week to perform for the troops. I’m spending three days each in Kosovo, Bosnia and Macedonia.”
The New York Daily News reports talent manager Larry Thompson tells them he’s working with Sony Pictures Television on a show called ‘Celebrity Home Videos’ — in which stars would spy on themselves. Thompson has started handing out top-of-the-line digital cameras to Coolio, William Shatner, Mike Myers and “other people who have a sense of humor.”
