Rapper Mike West, featured in such magazines as The Source and XXL, has just inked a with DPG Recordz/Gangsta Advisory Distribution. Mike West along with Daz Dillinger's help plans to release Mike West's independent album titled A Westside Story Chapter 1. The album will be released with a special 60-minute DVD documentry that will feature behind the scenes with Mike West. The full article at ballerstatus.net has since been removed or relocated.
Daz Dillinger announced that he signed a new distribution deal for his independent record label, Gangsta Advisory. Daz tells The Source, "I just landed a distribution deal with 101 Distribution in Phoenix Arizona, they’re a new up and coming distribution company... they’re gonna help me [reach new markets] I’m gonna help them build... I got a new solo album called DPGC: You Know What I’m Throwing Up that should be coming out in March on Gangsta Advisory."
