LL Cool J And Ice-T To Be Honored

The New York Post reports LL Cool J and Ice-T will be honored by rappers Nelly and Snoop Dogg, respectively, at the second annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors on September 26th. The event will be hosted by Russell Simmons and his brother, Reverend Run of Run-DMC. Snoop will perform Ice-T’s hit ‘Color’s, while the reunited groups En Vogue and Salt-N-Pepa perform ‘Whatta Man’.

Ice-T Still Isn’t Afraid To Voice His Opinion

Even in 2005 Ice-T unwittingly scares some with his no sh**-taking stance. “I think some people are scared, but I think most people respect it,” the rapper tells Time Off magazine. “Everybody in their life wishes they can stand up. I’m not a real aggressive-type mean or angry person. I just realize that in life all you have is integrity and, if you give that up, what’s left of you? Fortunately, people agree with a lot of my opinions and those are the people who are my fans.”
