Jadakiss Comments On Drug Bust At His Apartment

Jadakiss has issued a statement insisting he has nothing to do with activities that led to the arrest of Gabriel R. Henriquez, 39, and Alberto Lajara, 25, who were cited for drug possession in an apartment leased under Jadakiss’ name on Saturday.

What happened on Saturday was an unfortunate situation but one in which I have no involvement in. Since the release of my recent album “The Last Kiss,” I have been on the road touring and promoting my project. I am focused on my performance schedule and career.

Jadakiss Discusses ‘The Last Kiss’, Top 5 Collaborations

Jadakiss dropped by the ‘No. 1 Countdown’ on Fuse, where the rapper promoted his new album ‘The Last Kiss’ and talked about what he’s been doing since the lengthy delay between CDs. Jada also cleared up the album wasn’t his last, and the next release will be titled ‘Top 5 Dead Or Alive’. As for who his top five would be, Jadakiss said Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Tupac and Eminem.

Global Grind caught up with Jadakiss at a Best Buy in The Bronx, where the rapper was promoting his new album ‘The Last Kiss’. The LOX rapper said Mims might sell more than him with ‘Guilt’ also coming out this week. Told he was selling more at that location, Jada said, “Somewhere he gonna sell more than me… Wherever his block is.
