Jadakiss Arrested On Gun Charge

Jadakiss was arrested in Yonkers, New York for weapon possession early Saturday after a traffic stop his second arrest on gun charges since 2004, authorities said. The rapper, whose real name is Jason Phillips, was one of four people inside a car stopped by Yonkers police at 4:25 a.m., said Detective Sgt. Joseph Pietropaolo. Phillips, 31, and the three other men were all charged with criminal possession of a weapon when a loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle, the detective said.

Just when it seemed that the 50 Cent / Jadakiss / Fat Joe beef was simmering down to a dull boil, The G-Unit Camp has turned up the heat on an already over- publicized situation. In a song entitled ‘I Run New York’, 50 and Tony Yayo take shots at Jadakiss, Fat Joe and even Ja Rule. What makes this track interesting is the fact that Yayo has entered the battling arena calling out Fat Joe, Styles P and even Sheek Louch. This lyrical combat will eventually pin both the G-Unit and D-Block camps against each other…. lets just hope Hip-Hop can withstand the shots.

Police Stop Apparent Hit On Jadakiss

The New York Post reports police may have foiled a late-night Chelsea hit on Jadakiss Wednesday night after a Hot 97 party at the Roxy. Cops arrested four men with a loaded gun in a stolen black tow truck at around 3 a.m. after one of them waved a loaded semi-automatic handgun and told the rapper, “Jadakiss! This is for you!”
