Juvenile spoke with E1 about the new generation of rappers, the business aspect of the game, and his new album ‘Cocky & Confident’, out now. “In this business, if you’re getting involved in music or whatever you’re doing, you gotta know what you’re getting into and that it’s 90% business and 10% talent,” the rapper explained. “You got a lot of people out there with a lot of talent that should be making a whole lot more money, but they’re not because they didn’t know how to utilize it when it came down to contracts and all that.” Watch the comments below.

Blender magazine caught up with Juvenile and asked the New Orleans rapper about a controversial line in his Hurricane Katrina inspired ‘Get Ya Hustle On’ single, where he raps, “Everybody need a check from FEMA, so he can go and score him some cocaina.” He explained, “I don’t mean actually go out and sell coke. The message is to stop feeling sorry for yourself. We took a whacking, but this ain’t time to cry. Do what you gotta. Get that money.”
