Raptapes.com recently had the chance to catch up with Kanye West to speak with him about his new album ‘College Dropout’. Asked what fans can expect on his new album, West responded, “Umm, man, it’s a umm… A lot of people used the sound that I used on ‘The Blueprint,’ so it’s like I’m definitely trying to, just try new things on the beats, and umm, it’s got me rapping a whole lot on it, it’s not like a compilation album. Yeah, so umm, it’s really got me spittin’, expressing like, who I am. Basically what I went through and it’s not really what you would expect from a person who’s produced so many songs previously.”

SOHH.com caught up with Kanye West, who is set to release his debut album ‘College Dropout’ on Roc-A-Fella Records this summer. The veteran producer said, “I’m a rapper too, I make beats and I rhyme. The album is called ‘College Dropout’ because it’s dedicated to those who leave school to follow their dreams. For those cats who don’t conform to society saying you have to graduate from college to be successful.”

Kanye West Injured In L.A. Car Accident

MTV News reports Roc-A-Fella artist Kanye West is in a Los Angeles hospital recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident which occured after he left a recording studio at about 3 a.m. Wednesday morning (October 23). No word yet on his condition. Read more.
