NME followed Lethal Bizzle on to the stage before his live set at Leeds 2009. “Normally I get a bit nervous, I got a few butterflies, but I think I’m gonna do what I do best, and that’s to rock the whole crowd and bring the tent down,” the British rapper said. Lethal Bizzle talked to NME TV about his first Download show over the weekend, where he got bottled by the hard rock audience. The London grime artist said he liked the challenge that the hostile audience provided. “When I went on there, no way I was going to walk off the stage until I finished what I was going to do,” Bizzle explained. “So regardless if they’re throwing stuff, it didn’t really bother me.” Watch the remarks and a clip from his set below.
