Boo & Gotti: Perfect Timing
I had to listen to this CD at least three times to find something positive to say. Not because Boo and Gotti don’t have a rhyme style that is record deal worthy. Simply put the Cash Money sound is not for them. On some of the tracks I thought I was listening to Snoop when he first went to “No Limit”. I would say I’m a little more partial to the R. Kelly production we heard when Boo and Gotti were first introduced to the world. Being more familiar with Boo and Gotti before they were signed with any major label, then to hear them flow over Mannie Fresh’s production seemed a little forced. But following the old adage, “If you don’t work you don’t eat” they did make it work, no doubt about it.
St. Lunatic Murphy Lee recently shot a video for the Jermaine Dupri collaboration ‘What the Hook Goin’ Be?,’ the first single from his solo album, ‘Murphy’s Law’, due in September. The album will also include Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg and the Murphy Lee / Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs / Nelly ‘Bad Boys II’ single ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather.’ “Benny Boom shot both videos,” Lee said, “they’re amazing.” Keep tuned in to your favorite music television network to catch the new video for ‘What the Hook Goin’ Be.’

Nivea tells AllHipHop.com that indeed she and Cash Money Millionaire Lil’ Wayne are a serious couple. “Well I can tell you that, yes, we are together. And that’s about it. I just read like our first little bad rumor thing, we knew it was coming, but I just heard it on Allhiphop.com, and I was like, ‘Uhhh!’ and we both laughed about it. It’s whatever, it’s crazy,” Nivea said laughing.
Nivea fielded questions from fans on Total Request Live after her appearance on the MTV show. One fan asked who her favorite collaboration has been so far, and who she’d like to work with in the future. “My favorite collaboration so far has been Lil Wayne, even though all of them have been incredible learning experiences,” she said. “I hope to work with a whole gang of artists in the future. To name a few: Missy Elliot, Ashanti, Prince, Lauryn Hill, Lenny Kravitz, and my inspiration, Mariah Carey.”
