Lupe Fiasco and Kenna have released a music video for ‘Resurrection’, produced by Mike Shinoda, from Music For Relief’s Download to Donate for Haiti compilation. The video can be watched below. The collaboration is part of Music For Relief’s Download To Donate for Haiti campaign, raising funds to aid earthquake victims. Lupe Fiasco updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Thursday (March 4), thanking those in New Zealand and Australia for attending shows on his Steppin’ Laser World Tour. The Chicago rapper writes:

A big “CHOICE” shout out to all the fans in New Zealand & Australia for coming out in a MASSIVE way and supporting the first leg of the STEPPIN’ LASER WORLD TOUR!!!

We had the most fun we had on tour in a long time. We really appreciate the hospitality, the love and the utter craziness that took place at the shows.

The reviews have been off the charts and we are so humbled by the kind words and appreciation of the effort & energy we try to put into our shows to make it a great and worthy experience for all the fans.

Lupe Fiasco Among USA Network’s Character Approved Award Winners

USA Network has announced the winners of the first-ever Character Approved Awards to honor individuals from a cross-section of creative disciplines who are positively influencing American culture. This years winner for Music is Chicago-born and raised hip-hop artist, Lupe Fiasco. "I'm an artist," Lupe says in a profile clip. "An artist who just happens to rap." He added that he hates the music business and the "super violent" records selling tens of millions of records, and his desire to be the balance on the other side. Watch the video below.
