Popstar! caught up with Romeo at the Nickelodeon 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the UCLA Pauley Pavilion on Saturday (March 28) in Westwood, California. Lil’ Romeo Signs To Play Basketball For USC Trogans

The Associated Press reports Lil Romeo signed a national letter of intent to attend USC on Monday (November 19) at a news conference near Beverly Hills. “This is the most important thing I’ve had to do and hopefully it sends a message to kids across the country that education is more important than money,” Miller said at the news conference. “Getting a college scholarship is more important than winning an American Music Award, and I plan to be the best student-athlete I can be at USC.”

Lil’ Romeo recently released a track called ‘Hoodstar’, which is an answer to Bow Wow’s ‘Fresh Azimiz’. Romeo raps at Bow Wow saying “kids poppin in grills and they think they getting toughter/trying to take off their shirts and ain’t getting buffer.”
