RZA On ‘American Gangster’
RZA of Wu-Tang Clan spoke with Artisan News Service about his participation in the hit film 'American Gangster'. "What I like about this film, in particular, is that the people who they chose to represent are not just your average hip hop artist," he explained. "It's not, 'Let's get this most popular guy and this most popular guy'. They got guys who could hold their parts, whether it was a hip hop artist or not. I like to take the word hip hop off sometimes and just say, 'They went and got some artists, from the hip hop field'. We came and we represented an represented well. And I'm glad that we did."
