T.I. and his wife “Tiny” were busted by prison guards when she gave her man a hand job during a visit to the Forrest City Federal Correctional Complex in Arkansas. Inmates at the center are allowed to hug and kiss at the beginning and end of each visit, and can hold hands during the visitation period. T.I. was sent to a special housing unit following the infraction, which has higher security and less social interaction for the inmates. A report from TMZ about the news has since been removed at MySpace.
T.I. has announced the release of his hugely anticipated new album ‘No Mercy’. The Grammy Award-winning rapper’s first new collection since 2008’s 2x-RIAA platinum certified ‘Paper Trail’ arrives in stores and at all online retailers on December 7th. ‘No Mercy’ sees guest appearances from Kanye West, Eminem, Chris Brown, The-Dream, and Christina Aguilera with production from Dr. Luke, Danja and Jim Jonsin.
T.I. checked in with MTV’s ‘The Seven’ to play a clip of his new music video ‘Get Back Up’ featuring Chris Brown before he serves time for his probation violation. He also talked about the release of his new album ‘No Mercy’ on December 7th. “I just want to give a shout out to all my fans for staying by me all this time,” the rapper said. “Without you, I’m nothing. You make it all possible. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart and you’ll hear more from me soon.” Watch the comments and preview of the video below.

T.I. will be returning to jail soon after a federal judge ordered the Atlanta native back to prison for 11 months in wake of an arrest last month in Los Angeles on suspicion of drug possession. U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr. revoked his probation on weapons charges and told the rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., “I think Mr. Harris had had about the limit of second chances.”
T.I. had told the judge before getting sentenced, “I want drugs out of my life. If I can get the treatment and counseling I need … I can beat this. I need help. For me, my mother, my kids, I need the court to give me mercy.”

T.I. described how he helped police save a man from jumping off a building to CNN Headline News’ Vinnie Politan on Thursday (October 14). “To say with any reasonable thought in your mind that I planned to talk someone down off of a building, you then must say that I reasonably planned to talk someone on to a building and that’s just preposterous,” T.I. said by phone about those thinking this was set up or a publicity stunt. Complex magazine spoke with Nelly in a Q&A, asking the rapper if he’d been in touch with T.I. since his recent arrest for drug possession, which could mean a prison term from 5-18 months for violating his probation. “Yeah, he’s doing good,” Nelly said. “Obviously it’s unfortunate, but it’s one of those things that’s funny because people are like, ‘What’s going on? Are you sure?’ And it’s like, ‘That’s my patna.’ This is my friend. This is my dude. There’s not too many things that anybody can do to stop making me be their friend. When you grow up like I grew up, I seen it all and been through it all family-wise. I’m not going to stop being family members with some of my family because of certain things that they did. If that’s the case, then where would we be, period? He’s a G. He’s a soldier. He gonna do him. That’s what you respect.” Check out the entire interview here.
T.I. was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in Los Angeles the other night – and TMZ investigated just what that “substance” may have been. T.I. could be facing a lengthy stay behind bars after getting arrested along with his wife after police smelled what they believed to be marijuana coming from the rapper’s car. The couple were charged with possession of a controlled substance in West Hollywood following a traffic stop, Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy Mark Pope told The Associated Press. “Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle,” the department said. “A narcotics investigation ensued” that resulted in the arrests. T.I. is on 3 years probation following a 7-month prison sentence on gun charges.
TMZ has photos of the car, with styrofoam cups in front and back, prompting their speculation that codeine syrup may be the drug they’re getting busted for.

“I believe ‘King Uncaged’ is something you can party to a little bit better, a little easier,” T.I. said about the new album compared to ‘Paper Trail’. “It doesn’t have a dark cloud hanging over it, because ‘paper trail’, even in its brightest moment, you had a dark cloud hanging over it because you knew there was a moment of adversity coming soon behind.”
