Ice Cube, WC & DJ Crazy Toones On The Set Of ‘Do Your Thing’ Video

HardKnock.tv talked to Ice Cube, WC, and DJ Crazy Toones on the set of the ‘Do Your Thing’ music video. Cube said they selected the track as the first single because the others on the ‘Raw Footage’ album were too raw. “This was one we thought we could get the most exposure on, without people trippin’ on it,” the former NWA rapper explained. “This is a little more friendly for people that play rap music right now.” Cube also talked about Senator Barack Obama’s run to become president. WC Makes Def Jam Debut On October 22nd

Westside Connection member and solo artist WC makes his Def Jam Records debut with ‘Ghetto Heisman’ on October 22. For the album, WC teams up his Westside Connection partners Ice Cube and Mack 10, Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, MC Ren, and singers Nate Dogg, and Case. “For me being an individual who came up in the trenches where exposure from radio and video was always a big problem in my career, I felt like what better company to be with than Def Jam especially with them having the power to move mountains,” WC says of joining the new label.
