Westside Connection Hang To The Left On Month-Long Tour

MTV News reports Westside Connection begin a month long tour April 28th in La Jolla, California, according to a Priority Records spokesperson. The hip-hop trio play four more shows in California before heading to Reno, Nevada, and Medford, Oregon. A spin in the Southwest precedes the tour’s final destination, Las Vegas on May 27th. Baby Ree, owned by Damion “Damizza” Young, is leading the company to be a top contender in the hip-hop world. 2003 saw Baby Ree Entertaiment crank out two hit singles (“What Would You Do?” featuring Damizza, Shade Sheist, Nate Dogg & Mariah Carey and “Light Outs” by the Westside Connection featuring Knoc-turn’al). “Lights Out” got major airplay on mainstream radio with help from Damizza’s production and “What Would You Do?” has been receiving major airplay on the West Coast with Damizza on lead vocals featuring the sultry voices of Nate Dogg and Mariah Carey along with Shade Sheist. Mack 10 Says Westside Connection Album Coming In October

Mack 10 was on 100.3 Tha Beat today, a Los Angeles radio station, talking with Steve Harvey about the upcoming release. Mack 10 stated, “The fans aren’t really looking for a Mack 10 album, an Ice Cube album or a WC album.” He said, “The fans are waiting for the West Side Connection album, so we have to give it to them.” The album is due out for a October release and will be titled, “Terrorists Threats”.

Westside Connection Taping ‘The Holiday’ Video

Launch.com reports Westside Connection partners Ice Cube, WC, and Mack 10 are planning to tape the video for their song ‘The Holiday’, which is the lead single off Ice Cube’s film ‘Friday After Next’, Thursday and Friday (October 3 and 4) in Los Angeles. The ‘Friday After Next’ soundtrack will be released November 19 on Hollywood Records.
