The Game Set To Top Album Charts, Break January Record

Billboard reports that The Game’s debut album ‘The Documentary’ appears on course to top 600,000 sales, based on first-day numbers cited by retail chains, easily enough for the G-Unit star to top the charts. The Game also has a chance to score the biggest opening week of any January since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991, just needed to top Alan Jackson’s 2002 CD, ‘Drive’, which cleared 423,000 units in the month’s final week.
