The Inc.’s Studio Racket Irks Neighbors
Neighbors near Ja Rule’s Mercer Street recording studio (The Inc. studios) tell The New York Post reports they are fed up with the all-night parties, constant traffic, blasting music and all-around bad vibe the hip-hop star is bringing to the side streets of SoHo. “They are aggressive, they drink a lot, they smoke a lot and they are affecting our lives,” a neighbor ranted, adding that the two-dozen longtime residents who are complaining about Rule have contacted Mayor Bloomberg’s office and the police. “They say, ‘We cannot do anything.’ I’m considering moving because of these gangsters.”
