AllHipHop.com reports that Philadelphia Hip-Hop band The Roots will be honored with a Hero Award by the local chapter of the National Academy of Arts and Sciences, the organization that awards Grammy’s. The group is being honored for their years of positive contribution to the creative community of Philadelphia.
