The Source Awards To Give Back To Its Host City

The Source Youth Foundation, in partnership with the The Source Hip-Hop Music Awards, taking place October 13th at the Miami Arena, today announced an ambitious and unprecedented community service program, Hip-Hop Cares About Education (H2CE), that targets at-risk Miami youth. H2CE aims to leverage the power of Hip-Hop to promote educational achievement and workforce readiness among Miami’s marginalized, urban youth. According to the Center for Labor Market Studies and Northeastern University, only two out of ten young, black males in Miami, who want a job, have a job.
