This ‘Cradle’ Doesn’t Rock

Lawrence Toppman of The Charlotte Observer reviewed DMX’s new film ‘Cradle 2 the Grave’, giving it 1 1/2 out of 4 stars. Toppman writes, “Director Andrzej Bartkowiak has no idea where to put the camera, when to cut a scene, how to draw performances from actors such as Jet Li or DMX. His chases are chaos, his gunfights dull, his hand-to-hand combat marginally more exciting. He simply spends producer Joel Silver’s mega-millions smashing one piece of the set into some other piece.” The full review at charlotte.com has since been removed.
