‘This Is Not A Test’ Delivers A Message To Children

Missy Elliott explained to Extra that in addition to the music, her new album ‘This Is Not A Test’ sends a strong message to children. She says, “I go to the kids and tell them you don’t have to have a gun to be fly or be the cool kid.” Elliott also donates time and money to teens that have been in abusive situations, like the one she grew up in with her own mother and father. She says, “I’ve been through it and knowing that I could help somebody because I didn’t have nobody to help me.”
