The New York Daily News reports that authorities are saying T.I. allegedly was in the process of building a massive “arsenal” at his suburban Atlanta home when he was arrested for allegedly using his bodyguard to buy machine guns and silencers. David Nahmias, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, remarked, “This convicted felon allegedly was trying to add several machine guns to an already large, and entirely illegal, arsenal of guns.” But the King of the South’s lawyer Dwight Thomas insisted, “When this is all over, we can clear T.I.’s name and he can go back to making the wonderful music he is known for. He’s confident in the American legal system and that it will work in his favor.” Read more.
