Wale Visits Hot 97’s Angie Martinez
Angie Martinez of Hot 97 in New York City interviewed Wale the other day, where the DC rapper talked about signing to Interscope, who of the new crop of MCs he thinks will make it for awhile, the story behind his debut album being called ‘Attention: Deficit’, GQ calling him the greatest rapper since Jay-Z – which he downplayed, the importance of artist development, and teaming up with Lady Gaga on his new single ‘Chillin’.
