Weapons Charge Filed In Proof Slaying
The Detroit News reports that the man believed to have fatally shot Proof was charged Friday with two weapons related felonies but has not been charged with killing the D12 rapper. Mario Etheridge, 28, remains in custody charged with carrying a concealed weapon and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling. Witnesses have said Etheridge, a bouncer, shot Proof inside a private club on Eight Mile on Tuesday morning after Proof shot Etheridge’s cousin in the head.
