will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas weighed in on Kanye West’s protest of Taylor Swift’s win at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards for Best Female Video, and the subsequent reaction from U.S. President Barack Obama, who called the rapper a jackass. He also put his thoughts into song with ‘The Jackass Song’. Will writes:
I guess personal moments aren’t personal anymore…

now here is another distraction for the world…
meanwhile people are losing jobs, education is poor…
and all the youth are gonna eat this “personal” opinion up…
Obama needs Kanye…
he needs Kanye to stimulate the youth to stay focused and fight for “education reform”…
(if Kanye chose to lend himself to do that)
