Wyclef Jean: I’d Never Personally Profit Off Yele Haiti
Wyclef Jean checked in from Haiti on his YouTube channel, responding to investigations into past tax statements from his Yele Haiti charity. The Fugees rapper said he was “digusted” by suggestions he’s profiting off the charity, telling viewers, “I never would ever take money for my personal pocket when it comes to Yele. I myself have put $1 million inside of my own foundation.” Watch his message below.
